Is HoverBar Tower stable enough for a 12.9-inch iPad Pro?

Yes, the HoverBar Tower can be used with the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Just be sure that the bottom segment of the Articulating Arm is pointed toward the back of the weighted base for maximum stability.

Can I make the Tower shorter?

Yes.  The HoverBar Tower comes with three 14-inch sections.  Just remove one or two of the sections to make the stand shorter.
