Why does the leather of my new BookBook look and feel different than my previous BookBook?Updated a year ago
The difference in the feel and appearance between a new and used BookBook is normal and is not indicative of a different quality of leather. Leather is a natural product and as such, will have variations. Additionally, most new BookBooks will arrive with a slightly suede finish on the leather, which will become smoother, softer, shinier, and more supple with use. It does not constitute a manufacturing defect or a lower-quality product.
