Does it work with the original Apple Wireless Keyboard and trackpad?

No. The MagicBridge is designed specifically to work with the 2017+ Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad, 2021+ Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID Numeric Keypad, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Trackpad 2.
