The pairing instructions for headphones other than Apple's are found in the User Manual that came with the AirFly, pages 6-9.
The basic pairing instructions are:
1. Turn off Bluetooth on all other nearby devices to which the headphones have previously been paired (phone, iPad, laptop, et cetera).
2. Hold the AirFly pairing button down for a few seconds until the light flashes amber and white.
3. Put your headphones into pairing mode (refer to the headphones’ User Manual).
If the devices don't pair, reset the AirFly and the headphones and try again. The most common things that go wrong are:
- The headphones are still connected (though not actively being used) with another nearby Bluetooth device, such as a phone. They will not break an already established connection to pair to the AirFly.
- The headphones have already reached their limit of the number of Bluetooth devices they can be paired with so there's no room for the AirFly.
Turning off nearby Bluetooth devices and resetting the AirFly and headphones will usually solve these problems.
