My headphones aren't charging. What's wrong?

The most common reason a new Fermata fails to charge headphones is due to the headphone cable not being securely snapped down into the base. To test this, just remove the headphone cable, then reinstall it, making it’s securely pushed as far down into the base as possible. 

Please note that a few headphone manufacturers design their headphones to be charged with their cables only and a direct connection only (versus a usb hub).  These headphones, such as the Sony MDR-1000X headphones, will not charge on the Fermata.
