The prongs on my Continental Europe plug are bent slightly inwards. Is it defective?

The slight inward point of the prongs on the Continental Europe plug is intentional.  It is manufactured this way to provide a more secure hold in the outlet.  Because the prongs are cylindrical, if they are perfectly parallel, they tend to slide out of the outlet too easily.  Potentially, this could be very frustrating when you think your MacBook and iPad are charging, only to find the plug fell out of the wall when you weren't looking.
