This is usually caused by some kind of 3rd party software/hardware interaction with our BassJump software, or when BassJump is not plugged directly into your Mac. Two things to consider:
- Some 3rd-party audio software (such as Boom for Mac) that enhances the sound from your Mac can affect the performance of our BassJump software and cause errors. If you're using other 3rd-party audio software, you may need to uninstall that software before using BassJump.
- Some USB hubs won't provide enough power to BassJump, causing errors within the BassJump software. If your BassJump is plugged into a USB hub, you may need to unplug it and use your Mac's USB port.
