I placed one order, but two (or more) charges are shown on my credit card account. What happened?

If you had to try two or more times to place an order before you were successful, you may see multiple charges to your credit card. In this situation, the first (declined) ‘charges’ are not actually charges, but are, rather, a hold placed on those funds by your bank.  If you keep checking your credit card activity, you'll find these fall off automatically within a few days (1 to 5 business days is typical).  
If the duplicate entries continue to show up 5 business days after the order was placed, please contact the card issuer using the telephone number on the back of your credit card.
